3 months!

My baby will be 3 months in two days. Already? She is so grown up and her personality is really showing. She's such a doll. When she wakes up in the mornings she is sooo happy. She will lay there and talk for at least 15 minutes. Sometimes she wakes up at 9 or sometimes sleeps till 11. Crazy baby. She loves her toys. I put them on her chest and she grabs them and pulls them right up to her mouth. Her favorite is a little monkey. She is the biggest drooler. She thinks it's so funny when you try and scare her. She thinks Brody is hilarious. It's so cute! she smiles at Tillman just as much. She looooves the bath. Kicks non stop. When Josh was down in Tucson I would put the phone on speaker and he would talk to her and she would open her eyes sooo big and look around lke umm where is my dad. I will have to get a picture of that.

I took her toy from her and she threw the biggest fit. Love that little face.
Brody was watching Power Rangers and started doing this to Harlyn and she thought he was so funny!
Bath time!

Josh graduates!

Finally! Josh has been down in Tucson for training for 7 weeks!! I know, a lot of people say well you see him on weekends, or wow that went by fast. Okay, seeing your husband ONLY on weekends just doesn't fly with me. and no, it didn't go by fast. It sucked butt. I don't know how he did it. Well I do, he's a stud, but I mean, leaving Harlyn every week and pretty much missing 7 weeks of her life but that would be so hard! He is great though. He got expert in academics and in shooting. The only people who beat him in shooting were in the military! We love you Joshua and appreciate your hard work!

G pas birthday

Today we all got together at Baileys for a swim party and to grill some burgers for my grandpas birthday. He is the perfect example of what men should be. My whole life I've known him to be such a hard worker, ALWAYS fixing something and treating my grandma like she was the queen of the his world. I think his favorite thing to do in his spare time is service and I think it's great. Not too long ago he had foot surgery because his ankle was bothering him. He then had a heart attack which let to him getting a quad bipass...not long after that he had a massive brain stoke. I am pretty sure it rocked everyones world. The night he had a stoke, Chris came next door and said grandma had called her and told her to come over because something was wrong with Grandpa. Chris told her to dial 911 and hung up. We raced over to their house and were greeted by a fire truck in the street. We didn't know what had happened so our hearts sunk when we walked in the door. My grandpa was not the grandpa I knew. He was not responding to anything. It broke my heart. I almost wish I wouldn't have been there because that was hard. He was superman to me. We followed the ambulance to the hospital and got into the lobby right after they wheeled him in. The first thing we heard over the intercom was "stroke alert" bad. news. I went into his room then headed home. Josh had never seen me so upset. BUT on the positive side of things, he is doing MUCH better. He does speech and physical therapy and we're veeery grateful we get more time with him on earth! Harlyn is glad she got to meet her great grandpa too. He sure loves babies!!

Name and a blessing

Today was an amazing day. Started off Harlyn sleeping clear through the night until 6:30. She usually wakes up about 5-5:30 then goes back down. She played with us in our bed for about an hour then I layed her back down in hers and she slept and I got to relax and take a nice hot bath, Josh packed up his stuff to go back down to Tucson, and I had time to get ready all interupted! Whoo. She woke up and I let her play in the bath. She loves it so much! It was a busy day for Josh..I sent him over to Baileys to get a couple things of food to take back over to his parents but most importantly to pick up little misses blessing dress. My mom did such an amazing job on making it, I absolutly loved it. We headed over to the church and were there about 1:30. He gave her such an awesome blessing. Blessed her with a sense of humor, to live a worthy life, to find a worthy man to take her to the temple, to be a good example, to know that her parents love her and that her home will alway be a place where she can feel the spirit... The priesthood is such a special thing and I am so thankful my husband honors it. I of course felt the urge to bare my testimony BUT I knew if I got up there I would studder out of nervousness...and I would cry, not just tears, but the annoying cry sob where you choke and no one can understand you haha(No, I'm not shy but I've never given a talk in church, heck, my poor husband has never heard me pray! pathetic right??) Anyway, after sacrament we headed over to my in laws for some costa vida style food. We made some sweet pulled pork, cilantro lime dressing, pico de gallo, guacamole, rice, beans and all the fixings. Thanks to my mom and Bailey and Natasha for helping getting it all together. For my own memory I am liting all who came: Tam, Paula, Sage, Molly, G & G Schupple, G & G Nichols, my parents, Joshs parents, Crystal, Travis, Aubrey & Travis, Stacy & Jerry, Chris & Bailey (hope I didn't forget anyone) The guys who stood in the circle :My dad, G pa Earl, Chris, Sage, David, Jonathan, G pa Schupple, Travis Stapley, Jerry, bishop Flemming.
