The Schaelers: May 2012

Whew. I haven't been on here in a while! First off, Josh got sick of Walgreens and got a new job working for the Dept of Corrections. He will be at the Eyman Prison in Florence.He's down in Tucson for training which sucks. He leaves here Sunday about 6 pm and gets home Friday evening around 6. I am so grateful he works all kinds to give me the time to raise our daughter! The first week he was there, I stayed in SJ after Skylars wedding. She was gorgeous might I add! The second week I just hung around here..mostly Baileys. I get soo bored alone! haha. and last Wed, the 23rd me and Bailey packed up the kids and headed out to Huntington, CA. My cousin lives there and we thought it would be fun to crash her place and visit for a few days. We did a lot of shopping and a lot of eating. Too much eating. (Is there such a thing?) Chris flew in Saturday night and Sunday, after shopping and eating more, we headed on down to San Diego. We stayed at Capri By the Sea, LOVE that place. It is perfect. You wake up, look out your door and the ocean is right there. I was out on the pull out bed and Brody and Rigden took turns sleeping with me. Little buddies. Except the bed sorta fell in the middle so we both rolled in to each other haha. Anyway, in San Diego we of course ate Konos for breakfast all 3 days. IF you hven't been there, I suggest you do next time youre there! Had some Pita Pit, some good sushi, went to a pizza joint and a few other places. I can't wait to go back! Of course with my husband next time. Sure missed that guy! Our little princess turned 2 months old while we were there! I didn't get an official "2 month" pic but I do have a pic of her on that day! She smiles a lot, laughs a little coo and loves to talk! She is the happiest in the morning and late at night. :) She loves her crib and I'm thanful, but I love cuddling with her. She thinks she always has to be sitting up, it's pretty cute. She likes obnoxious noises, like the ugly sound you make when you pucker your lips and blow air out! She is wearing 3-6 tops and 0-3 bottoms, ~~baby got back~~ no, no she doesn't! She LOOOVES the bath. As soon as she hears the bath water she opens her eyes wide and looks around, yells when you take her out. She seems to be a home body. And she thinks I'm pretty funny :) Although Cali was a nice getaway, it was amazing to come home and eat a nice home cooked meal!
We went out to dinner and bowling the other night with Travis and Crystal and after dinner we dropped Harlyn off with my mom and Bailey. I only text once to see how she was doing! I was proud of myself. Not that I wasn't thinking about texting the rest of the time...haha.
We're blessing Harlyn this Sunday the 3rd. It is such a blessing to have a husband who holds and honors the priesthood. I know he will do an amazing job!
